The Spiritual Tour of Rajasthan takes you to some popular tourist destinations of Rajasthan where you can get spiritual at the peaceful temples of Rajasthan. The Brahma Temple at Pushkar, Jain Temples at Osian, Karni Mata Temple at Deshnok and Lotus Temple at Delhi are worth visiting. In this tour, some villages are also included to get you a rural touch.
Day 1- Delhi arrival
Upon your arrival, you will be picked up by our staff member and escorted to your pre-booked hotel for some rest, the rest of the day is at leisure. Delhi is a hub for food junkies and Shopaholics, you can pay a visit to Paratha Gali of Chandani Chowk to try some delicious Indian food and Hauz Khas for shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2- Delhi excursion
Post breakfast, your Delhi excursion will begin with sightseeing of Qutub Minar- A 234 feet high minaret which was built by Mughal emperor Qutub-Ud-Din Aibak, India gate which was is a war memorial dedicated to the soldiers of first World War and lotus temple which is a fine example of the modern style of architecture with its 27 petal shaped marble leaves. Post this, you will pay the visit to the Red Fort which was a major political and ceremonial center of Mughal Dynasty. This fort is made of red sandstone in the Mughal style of architecture. You can surprise your taste buds with spicy street food of Delhi during the excursion. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3- Delhi-Agra transfer and excursion
Post breakfast, you will be transferred to Agra which is known for the former seven wonder – Taj Mahal. It was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his late wife Mumtaz Mahal who died during childbirth. It was built in 1643 with the help of 20,000 artisans by white marble. Upon arrival at Agra, you will be escorted to your hotel for some rest. You will visit this magnificent piece of art in the evening where you can enjoy the beauty of the Taj and Yamuna River with sunset. You can try the sweet delicacy of Agra ‘Agra Petha’ on the streets outside Taj and Mughal cuisine in Agra as well. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4- Agra-Jaipur transfer via Fatehpur Sikri
Post breakfast, you will be paying the visit to the Agra Fort which was a major residence of Mughal era before Delhi. Post-excursion of this site you will be taken Jaipur where in the middle of the route, approximately 35 KM away from Agra, you will be taken to Fatehpur Sikri which boasts of world’s biggest gateway built by Mughal Emperor Akbar to memorialize his victory over Gujarat. You will visit the Panch Mahal, Jodha Bai’s Palace and the Tomb of Salim Chishti which is considered one of the finest examples of the Mughal style of architecture. After arrival at Jaipur, you may take some rest at your pre-booked hotel and check out the local Bazaar for traditional souvenirs. You may also plan to visit Chokhi Dhani resort to trying the flavorful cuisine and folk dance of Rajasthan. Overnight stay at the prebooked hotel in Jaipur.
Day 5- Jaipur – Amber - Jaipur
The Pink City of Rajasthan is dotted with lots of heritage destinations that amaze every traveler who come to visit India. Post breakfast, you will be taken to the Amer fort, where you can choose to experience the elephant safari to reach the gateway of Amer Fort. Amer Fort is one of the most visited forts of India because of its unique blend of Rajput, Mughal and European style of architecture. Post this, you will be visiting the Jal Mahal palace that situated right in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake, Hawa Mahal palace- wind palace with 953 windows and Jantar Mantar which is the biggest astronomical observatory to observe celestial objects from the naked eye. You will be taken to the City Palace of Jaipur which includes Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, and some other sections You can gather some useful stuff from Bapu Bazaar and beautiful gemstones and jewelry at reasonable prices form Johri Bazaar of Jaipur. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Jaipur – Pushkar
Early in the morning, you will leave for Pushkar, a small town situated in the laps of Aravali mountain range, mostly visited by Hindu pilgrims throughout the whole year. You will be taken to the Pushkar Lake which is considered a holy lake according to Hindu Mythologies and ancient Brahma temple which was built in 14th-century. As Pushkar has a lot of pilgrim sites, you can visit Brahma Temple, Savitri Mata Temple and go for a camel safari. You can enjoy a beautiful sunset at the Sunset Point. Overnight stay in the pre-booked hotel.
Day 7: Pushkar -Deogarh-Udaipur
Post breakfast, you will be transferred to Udaipur. On the way, stop at Deogarh for sightseeing. Further, continue towards Udaipur and upon your arrival, you will take some rest and then go for Udaipur sightseeing. Udaipur is known as the city of lakes and Venice of Rajasthan due to its 9 natural and artificial lakes that enhance the beauty of this magnificent town. The major places to visit in Udaipur are-the city palace of Udaipur made on the bank of Lake Pichola which is 400 years old palace and made with the blend of Rajasthani and Mughal style of architecture, the Lake palace situated in the lake Pichola, Jag Mandir, Jagdish temple and Monsoon Palace. Post breakfast, you will be paying a visit to all these places. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8: Udaipur Sightseeing
In the morning, you can relax in your hotel and later in the day, you can go shopping in the popular marketplaces like Hathi Pol Bazaar, Bada Bazaar, and Bapu Bazaar. You can spend the day in Gulab Bagha and Zoo which is the largest garden in Udaipur and also pay a visit to Ahar Cenotaphs. Overnight stay in the hotel
Day 9: Udaipur-Narlai-Rohetgarh-Jodhpur
After a comfortable overnight stay and a hearty breakfast, you will set out on an expedition to Jodhpur, the blue city. Enroute stop at Narlai and Rohetgarh for sightseeing. Further continue towards Jodhpur, the city of Mewar culture with vibrant colors of Rajasthan. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 10: Jodhpur Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be paying a visit to the Mehrangarh fort with seven fortified gateways which was built by Rao Jodha in 1460. You will pay a visit to Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan, Ghantaghar, and Balsamand Lake during Jodhpur excursion. Post this, you will be escorted to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 11: Jaisalmer Sightseeing
Jaisalmer is the oasis of Thar desert, famous for the beautiful the beautiful Jaisalmer fort which was built by Rawal Jaisal in 17 century. It is one of the very few still living fort of the world, where ¼ of the population still lives inside the fort. You will visit the famous havelis of Jaisalmer such as Patawo ki Haveli, Salim Ji Ki Haveli, and Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli which were built by rich merchants during the 15th -16th centuries. Post this, you will be escorted to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 12: Jaisalmer – Osian – Khimsar
Drive towards Khimsar and Enroute, stop at Osiyan which is an ancient town of Thar Desert and famous as the Khajuraho of Rajasthan because of its ancient temples. This town is known for the Brahmanical and Jain temples dating from 8th and 11th centuries. This town was a major trading center and major stop of Camel caravans during Gupta period. Further, proceed to Khimsar and visit the Khimsar Fort which was built by Rao Kharamsji, 8th son of Rao Jodha of Jodhpur, in 1523. This Fort has its walls and doorways was scarred during wars and these scars still persist. You can enjoy a camel safari and visit sand dunes. Overnight stay in Khimsar.
Day 13: Khimsar – Deshnok – Bikaner
In the morning, proceed for Bikaner and en route you will be stopping at Deshnok to visit the Karni Mata temple, which is also famous as the Rat temple due to the presence of thousands of rats in this temple. You will be transferred to Bikaner after an excursion of this place. Upon arrival at Bikaner, you will be escorted to your pre-booked hotel for the night stay.
Day 14: Bikaner
Post breakfast, you will explore the camel capital of Rajasthan, Bikaner where you will get to experience Camel safari. You will pay a visit to Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh Palace, and Gajner lake and after an excursion of this amazing city of Thar, you will be escorted to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 15: Bikaner – Nawalgarh- Mukundgarh- Mandawa
Depart for Nawalgarh which is dotted with havelis such as Ramdev Ji temple, Chokhani temple, Anandi Lal Poddar Haveli, Morarka Haveli, Bansidhar Bhagat Haveli and Narasimha temple. Later, you will be transferred to Mukundgarh which lies in the Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. This city, close to Nawalgarh, was established in 1857 and is a perfect place to experience the true nature of Rajasthan and understand the lifestyle of the people here. The most notable places to visit are the Ganeriwala and Kanoria Havelis. Further, continue towards Mandawa. Overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 16: Mandawa
After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Mandawa, a small town in Jhunjhunu district, known for its forts and havelis. After taking some rest, you will be escorted for sightseeing to Mandawa Fort which was founded in the 18th-century by Thakur Nawal Singh. It is adorned with the frescoes of Lord Krishna and has a beautiful arched gateway. This fort has now been converted to a heritage hotel. You will also visit various Havelis including the Sewaram Saraf Haveli, a century-old Haveli, Ram Pratap Nemani Haveli, Aakharam Ka Haveli and also the Shekhawati Art Palace, Khemaniyon Ka Kuwa and the iconic Golden Haveli. Overnight stay at a hotel in Mandawa.
Day 17: Mandawa-Jhunjhunu-Delhi
In the morning, depart for Delhi and en route stop at Jhunjhunu for sightseeing. You will be transferred back to Delhi for the upcoming journey after this Spiritual tour of magnificent Rajasthan.
